  1. Good gosh, are you going to apply to all those schools? That’s obsene! haha One of my roommates my 3rd year of college was a Pharmacy major – she was one of those that was autmatically accepted into the program from high school as long as she kept her grades up. The other roommate and I weren’t so bogged down with homework at the time, and would always get so pissed at us because we could go out and do thing on week nights and she was stuck doing homework. ha! Think of it this way though … you’ll both make way more money than I ever will with your major, so that’s a light at the end of the tunnel! haha
What does the “application” for the programs entail? Do they require a lot of writing?

  2. @letgolaughing – Haha, I doubt I’ll apply to ALL of them, but probably a large chunk of them. All of the ones in the tristate area, at least. I already missed out on the ones with November and December deadlines because I couldn’t get into the lab for organic chemistry in the spring. I’m still trying to find a spot, but if I don’t get in, then I won’t be applying to any of these schools and will effectively lose a year. The application is like any other. There’s a personal essay section where you have to explain why you want to go into the field. The money is enticing, but really I just want to do something with my hands, have decent job security, a family, and a Porsche 911 GT3, which is basically the American Dream.

  3. hahahaha Yes, the Porsche definitely fits into the American Dream. Do they give those to English majors? I don’t think so. Darnit.I suppose that’s the sacrifice I made when I decided to go into liberal arts! Ha. I’m not much for science or math. :)
