I returned to Burly today to greet snow, overcast skies, and 30 degrees, so business as usual for this state. A bit depressing from where I spent the last 4 days honestly. Upon reflection though, I have found that traveling is NOT cheap. I blew at least $100/day on food and transport alone. Good thing I’m not a poor college student up to my eyeballs in loans. Wait, I guess I am. Whatevs. This was my last spring break and I spent it the right way, unlike most of my classmates who either stayed here and worked or went home for the week.
Though I’ve been up since 5, I did agree to tutoring today so I met up with my little 2nd grader again. What a sharp kid. I had her doing 4 digit addition and subtraction like it was going out of style.
